Fredrick S. Gibson, Sr. is a distinguished criminologist, political and economic analyst, author, and social justice advocate whose work spans criminal justice reform, addiction recovery, public safety, economic development, and international policy.
Born in Gibson Town, Tappita, Lower Nimba County, Liberia, Mr. Gibson immigrated to the United States in pursuit of education and opportunity. His journey from rural Liberia to becoming an accomplished scholar, entrepreneur, and international reform advocate reflects a life shaped by resilience, purpose, and visionary leadership.
Mr. Gibson holds multiple advanced degrees, including a Master of Science (MSc), Master of Arts (MA), Master of Public Administration (MPA), and Master of Business Administration (MBA). He is also a Juris Doctor candidate in Law and Public Policy.

For more than fifteen years, he has served in leadership positions across the Delaware Valley in addiction treatment, behavioral health, and criminal justice systems. His experience includes working as a Clinical Supervisor and Program Manager in opiate replacement therapy programs, methadone treatment centers, and prison reentry initiatives. He also holds certifications in addiction counseling and has worked extensively with vulnerable populations facing substance abuse, mental health challenges, and reintegration barriers.

As President of the U.S.–Liberia Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Gibson promotes economic partnerships, trade opportunities, and institutional collaboration between the United States and Liberia. Through Genesis Global Initiatives, he is spearheading visionary projects such as the Genesis Global Village—a proposed 100-acre integrated development in Liberia that will include a Graduate School of Professional Studies, a Global Center for Drug Policy & Treatment Protocols, logistics hubs, and technology-driven workforce development initiatives.
